| Watch
out Collies! Nowadays
it is becoming more and more difficult to compete and win
successfully at any level against the very fast collies with
another breed.
Just
to show it can still be done Mr. Pudding Esq., a Giant Schnauzer/Doberman
X had a brilliant day at the Weald Show. Having only ever
competed at five shows before, Mr. Pudding Esq and his handler
Daniel Slinkert showed everyone what two gentle giants can
do together! Winning out of Elementary in the morning, followed
by a Starter Win in the afternoon, left no-one in doubt that
this talented pair were having a very good day!
Many
congratulations from all the MAD crowd!

Flora
and Mary
When
Mary Stephens was in her 80’s, she thought it was about
time she started training a Collie! Having had Spaniels and
Labradors before, she fancied a challenge! Mary adopted Flora,
a rescue collie, saving her from a watery grave. Flora was
not easy and Mary, now going on 90 wondered whether she would
be able to cope with her. Flora loved agility from the start
and the partnership blossomed. Mary is incredibly talented
and went on to compete with Flora and got a place at her first
competition and more rosettes followed swiftly.
I am very proud of both of them! (Kathrin) |
